PHP Application Developer
Location: Plano, Texas
Salary: $40-67,000 depending on experience

Summary: You will build websites and mobile applications for organizations doing important work around the world. Funnel Science is seeking an in-house creative WordPress Developer to add to our growing team. The right person for the job will leverage new and emerging technology to help our influential clients effectively communicate and advocate on the web.
We are looking for these technical skills:
- 3-7 years knowledge/experience of PHP, HTML, javascript,MySQL & CSS
- WordPress plugin development
- Experienced WordPress Theme development/psd slicing
Desired skills
- Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements.
- Work closely with project managers and designers, but rarely with clients.
- Accurately estimate time to complete specific project deliverable
- Work off of a Project Development Requirements Spreadsheet
- Work with a team of developers or work independently to complete a project
- Work within a software revision control system
In this position, you will work as an integral part of a cohesive team to solve problems and build innovative web solutions from open source software. You will contribute to a range of projects and will participate in all stages of design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
We will also train you to become Google Certified and you will have the opportunity to advance on a transparent leadership development plan.

Our Developers:
- Love building rich, interactive websites customizing a variety of web-based technologies.
- Love creating perfect code while building clean UI’s , just as much as they love elegantly-architected methods and classes.
- Are CMS Gurus and love working with open source platforms, like WordPress.
- Actively participate in the open source community, sharing socially, while attending and speaking at local WordPress events.
Key Qualifications:
- Have at least 3 years of web development experience in WordPress
- Preference on self taught, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or communications or honorable military service in a i.t. job or with security clearance.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven, technical, and design-focused environment.
